Pulaski County 4-H Camp Canceled due to COVID-19

Dear 4-H Camp Friends,

I am very saddened that all Virginia 4-H summer camps, both day and residential, have been canceled this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as you know — including the Pulaski County 4-H Camp at W.E. Skelton 4-H Center, June 1-5, 2020.  The decision was made to help reduce the rate of infection in the state and help flatten the curve.

Although we are not able to hold Pulaski County 4-H Camp this year, we remain committed to growing future leaders and educating youth in Pulaski through Pulaski County 4-H.

Some of the programs we’re offering and also working towards:
  • 4-H Hardwood Seedlings coming to the Extension Office soon
  • Virtual ‘Marketing You – Writing Your Resume,’ April 20, 2020
  • 4-H Backyard Bird Count Booklet coming soon
  • Virtual ‘State 4-H Congress,’ June 22-25, 2020
  • Annual, Herb and Vegetable Seeds coming to the Extension Office soon
  • Virtual ‘Snack Attack’ and ‘Cooking with What’s in the Pantry’ coming soon
  • Virtual ‘STEM Challenges” coming soon

Thank you for your continued support and understanding as we go through these unprecedented and challenging times together.  If there are any programs and/or activities that would be helpful to you that the Extension Office could offer, please let me know.

I’m still “Loaded with 4-H Spirit” and look to continue to “Make the Best Better” in Pulaski County 4-H.  Who is with me???
