The
Pulaski County 4-H Livestock Club is a club for youth, ages 9 – 19, with an interest
in the world of Agriculture and how that world affects us all.
The
club participates in activities that increase their knowledge of the care and management
of livestock. Through these activities members develop an awareness of
the ethical issues in care of livestock and the importance of the agriculture
industry. Club activities also help increase
their awareness and importance of youth in the agriculture industry. Members in the 4-H Livestock Club acquire knowledge, develop
life skills and form attitudes which will enable them to become self-directing,
productive and contributing members of the Agriculture society today and
tomorrow.
The
4-H Livestock Club meets every 3rd Tuesday of the month, 6-8pm, at
the Extension Office, located in the Basement of the Pulaski County
Administration Building, 143 Third Street, NW, downtown Pulaski.
