The Pulaski Extension Office Hatchery is peeping loudly with 27 chicks in brooder boxes with three fluffing out in the incubator.  

Chicks are also peeping at Pulaski County Public Schools and Pulaski County Library System.

Calling all 4-H Alumni and Friends.  Help us continue “To Make the Best Better” in Pulaski County through 4-H’s tradition of “Learn By Doing.”  

From 12pm, February 18, to 12pm, February 19, we’re asking our 4-H alumni and friends to jump in with a simple $5 gift.  And the Extension Office with the most $5 individual gifts will unlock up to $2,000 of bonus funds.  

These bonus funds, along with your $5 gift, makes a lasting impact supporting everything from 4-H In-School Clubs, to 4-H Camp, to project clubs like 4-H Livestock Club, 4-H Shooting Club and 4-H Teens In Action!.

Join the Pulaski County 4-H Camp Leadership Team

 

Pulaski County 4-H is now accepting applications for Teen Counselors In Training, Teen Counselors, and Adult Leaders, for Pulaski County 4-H Camp, June 8-12, 2026.

 

We are looking for enthusiastic, responsible teens and adults who want to be a positive role model. 4-H Camp Counselors In Training, Teen Counselors and Adult Leaders are the heart of our program. You will help plan and organize Pulaski County 4-H Camp, for youth, ages 9-13, and working side by side with the Pulaski County 4-H Extension Staff. 

 

Come help us “Make the Best Better,” “Touch the Future,” “Give Back,” and gain valuable leadership skills to last a lifetime. 

 

4-H Camp also looks REMARKABLE on:

• National Honor Society applications,

• College scholarships,

• Job applications,

• Resumes,

• And for those thinking of the ACCE program at New River Community College, it will satisfy the 80 hours of service learning.

 

Applications will be reviewed as received, interviews scheduled and positions offered until all positions are full.
