Let's Make a Pizza

 

On Friday, February 10, 2017, 4-H Teens In Action! had 19 teenagers and 5 Adult Leaders come out for “Let’s Make A Pizza.”  Everyone learned how to make homemade pizza dough, were able to have two pieces each and also take dough home to make their own pizza! Today was an excellent day!

4-H Berry Fundraiser

Hello Friends of 4-H and Extension,

It’s time to place your order for our 4-H Berry Fundraiser.

I’d be happy to answer any questions.  I can attest to all the berries first-hand from plantings in my backyard.  Once established, you’ll find your own berry patch a delicious treat.  My children love being able to pick and eat their home-grown berries.

4-H Camp Leader Applications now available

4-H Camp Counselor In Training (CIT), Teen Counselor and Adult Leader Applications are ready.  CIT's must be a minimum of 13 by 1/1/2017 and Teen Counselors a minimum of 14 by 1/1/2017.  Please stop by the Extension Office to pick up your application and also sign up for your interview.  Applications are due March 1, 2017.  4-H Camp is scheduled for June 26-30, 2017, at the Skelton 4-H Center, Wirtz, VA.  For more information, contact Chris Lichty, Senior 4-H Extension Agent, at clichty@vt.edu or 540-980-7761.

WHERE:  Extension Office then First Methodist Church - Downtown Pulaski (across the street from Administration Building)
 
COST:  $5

Come join a group of 4-H friends as we learn from Mr. Lichty how to make homemade Pizza dough then make our own Pizza.  Everyone will leave with the scrumptious and easy to make pizza dough recipe along with a ball of pizza dough to make a pizza at home.

RECORD YOUR ATTENDANCE by Wednesday, February 8, 2017, 5pm, so we can include you in the fun.
