Virginia Cooperative Extension conducts a Needs Assessment

Hello Pulaski County Friends,

Every five years, the Virginia Cooperative Extension conducts a needs assessment called a Situation Analysis to determine community needs and those that Extension might be able to address.  Some of you know us already through our Pulaski County 4-H programs, some through our Agriculture and Natural Resources programs, and some through our Food, Health and Nutrition programs.

We'd appreciate your input with our five minute survey you can complete online at www.tinyurl.com/ya7h6qc9.  Please complete before January 1, 2019, so we may include your input in our Situation Analysis.

Sincerely,
Chris Lichty, Senior 4-H Extension Agent
Morgan Paulette, Agriculture & Natural Resource Extension Agent
Laura Reasor, Family & Consumer Sciences Extension Agent

Pulaski County 4-H Livestock Club attends Pulaski Christmas Parade

The Pulaski County 4-H Livestock Club participated in the Pulaski Christmas Parade on Thursday, December 6, 2018.

Over two dozen 4-H members, parents and leaders spent many fun hours building the float and enjoying each other’s company in excitement for the annual Christmas parade.  This year the club took 2nd place.

Special thanks to Cynthia Hurst, our 4-H Program Assistant, for the countless hours and dedication to making this year’s, and many a past year’s, float a success.  We couldn’t do it without YOU Cympy.  Thank you.
