Pulaski County 4-H recommends "What's for Lunch?" Logic Puzzle for you and your children. 

This and other similar activities are conducted online every Monday evening during 4-H Monday Mingles.

Update on Pulaski County Extension Office

Hello 4-H and Extension Friends,

Just an update on the Pulaski Extension Office.

While our programming and schedules are still modified, we are holding regular office hours 8 am – 5 pm, M - F.  However, we recommend anyone considering a visit to the Extension Office call ahead to see if we can help you over the phone or email and prevent an unnecessary trip.

If you decide to come to our office please be respectful of state and county guidelines and wear a mask! At this point in time, our in-person programming is still on hold as we wait for safer conditions and less restrictive guidelines.

Field services such as farm visits are still being conducted when necessary. We are trying to utilize email and social media more actively to share educational resources and virtual program opportunities with you. Pulaski County 4-H welcomes new 4-H All Star

Pulaski County 4-H welcomed Judie Willis as the newest Virginia and Pulaski County 4-H All Star on Wednesday, June 24, 2020. Judie has been part of the Virginia 4-H family for 50 years, from Hanover, to Henrico, to Pulaski, and bleeds 4-H green. 4-H All Stars is the highest recognition that a Virginia 4-H'er can achieve.

Judie strives to “Make the Best Better” for everyone in Pulaski County 4-H, being especially active with 4-H Teens In Action!, 4-H Shooting Club and 4-H Cloverbud Club, where she serves as a Club Leader. Judie is recognized by the Extension Office and 4-H community as 4-H Adult Leader Extraordinaire. She is also very supportive of our 4-H Livestock Club and any/all of our 4-H After-School Clubs if she can make it work with her schedule and her children’s schedules.

“I applaud Judie for these efforts and everyone knows that they can count on her,” says Chris Lichty, Pulaski County 4-H Extension Agent. “At 4-H Camp and around many a 4-H program, many a teen and 4-H’er have come to call her Momma Judie, from providing them with a band-aid, having a spare toothbrush or giving them a coloring book to help ease their minds. Thank you, Judie.”

2020 Pulaski County 4-H Camp in a Box

Hello Pulaski County 4-H and Extension Friends,

We are excited to announce that registration is now Live for 2020 Pulaski County 4-H CAMP IN A BOX! 

Although we could not be at camp together in person, we can still be together in spirit. In this box you will find 11 camp classes, each separated into its own Ziploc bag. In each "class bag" you will find written instructions and link information for "HOW TO" videos for some classes!

Pulaski County 4-H Camp in a Box is free to youth who are 9-13 years old (3rd - 7th grade in the 2019-2020 school year) with first preference given to current Pulaski County 4-H'ers, then enrolled in Pulaski County Public Schools and/or a Pulaski County resident. 

4-H Camp in a Box will include: 4-H Camp T-Shirt, camp class activity kits and other goodies. Boxes are first come, first served, and limited to 170 youth. Boxes will be distributed curbside, outside the Pulaski County Extension Office no earlier than, Monday, July 6, 2020.
