Pulaski County 4-H Shooting Education Club Information Meeting, October 2

 

Hello Pulaski County 4-H Friends and Parents,

Pulaski County 4-H Shooting Education Club will be hosting an Information Meeting, on Monday, October 2, 2023, at Central Gym, from 4:00-5:30pm.

This meeting will allow youth, ages 9-18 (4th-12th), and parents to see what the Pulaski County 4-H Shooting Education Club is about.  We'll chat a little about program expectations ending with an opportunity to shoot our 4H BB guns, maybe even an air rifle for middle and high schoolers.  All equipment, eye protection and ammunition will be provided.  Please note that closed toed shoes and long pants are required.

If you and your child are interested in joining us, please let us know through the link below before Monday, October 2, so we can prepare accordingly.  Parents / Guardians are required to stay for the duration of the meeting.

2023 Pulaski County 4-H Camp Registration extended until Monday, May 8

Registration extended until May 8...So, time to get your kiddo Pre-Registered for the 2023 Pulaski County 4-H Camp.

We currently have 5 boy beds available and 14 girl beds available.

 

Please, please spread the word and help us fill all these beds with Pulaski County youth and any of their friends, even outside Pulaski. Otherwise, we have to turn these beds back for 2023.

Help us fill every bed at the 2023 Pulaski County 4-H Camp. There's plenty of space available. 

 

4-H Camp is Pulaski County 4-H's #1 4-H summer activity and the opportunity for campers to have positive life changing experiences. Campers try new things, make new friends, create lifelong memories, and gain the independence that comes from a week at 4-H Junior Camp. Those experiences are the cornerstone of what 4-H is all about.

 

Pulaski County 4-H Camp is scheduled for June 12-16, 2023, at the Skelton 4-H Center, Wirtz, VA, and is open to all youth ages 9-13. Cost is $370 and we also offer limited financial assistance.

IT’S PAPER CLOVER TIME! - APRIL 26 - MAY 7, 2023

It's Almost Paper Clover Time! Become a Pulaski 4-H Sponsor.

Make plans to visit our Pulaski Tractor Supply Company Store April 26 - May 7, 2023, and while your there purchase a 4-H Paper Clover.

Funds raised help our local youth attend 4-H Camp and other leadership activities and events.

 

2023 Camp Registrations will be accepted April 10 to April 24, 2023

 

We are HAPPY to announce that we finally have enough information to share about 2023 Pulaski County 4-H Camp!

 

4-H Camp is June 12-16, 2023 and held at W.E. Skelton 4-H Educational Conference Center. We will camp WITH Botetourt & Patrick County 4-H this year. 

 

All Camp registration will be done online this year. If someone does not have the ability to register online we can help them here at the Extension Office.

 

Camp registrations will be accepted April 10 to April 24, 2023, and available to 100 campers (60 girls, 40 boys), or whichever comes first. 

 

The camp registration form will be available April 10, 2023 opening at 9:00 AM, closing April 24, 2023, at 4:00 PM.

4-H Camp is co-ed and open to campers ages 9 to 13 years old.

 

Camp registration fee is $370, with $50.00 of as a non-refundable deposit.

 

We must receive the $370 registration fee, with a copy of the:

• 2023 Pulaski County 4-H Camp Pre-Registration, 
• Health History, 
• Medication 
• and Equine Waiver Forms, 
• and a Current Picture,
  
• DO THIS WITHIN 48 hours of online pre-registration otherwise the camper’s spot will be released to the next in line. 
• Please note, Pre-registraiton isn't a guarantee your child will get to attend 4-H Camp. It only puts your child next in line.

Pulaski County 4-H needs 4-H Camp Teen and Adults Leaders to join us for 2023 Pulaski County 4-H Camp, June 12-16, 2023.

4-H Camp Counselors In Training, Teen Counselors and Adult Leaders are the heart of our program and agree to be positive role models while helping plan and organize Pulaski County 4-H Camp, under the leadership of Pulaski County 4-H Extension Staff.

Come help us “Make the Best Better” and add this invaluable leadership experience to your resume.

Applications being accepted now through Friday, February 24, 2023, and/or until all positions are filled.
