4-H Day at the State Capitol, January 24, 2017

On Tuesday, January 24, 2017, Middle and High School aged Pulaski County 4-H’ers have the wonderful and educational opportunity to join hundreds of 4-H’ers from across the state to be part of 21st Annual 4-H Day at the State Capitol.  January 31, 2017, has been scheduled as the inclement weather make-up day.

4-H Day at the State Capitol provides opportunities for 4-H’ers to learn more about state government, meet local legislators, encourage civic engagement and sit in on a House/Senate Session.  4-H Day at the State Capitol will allow 4-H’ers across the state to thank their Delegates and Senators for their 4-H support.  It's also a good way for 4-H’ers to personally tell their State Legislators how much 4-H means to them.

Preregistration is now open and limited to 24 people (preference given to first time attendees and active 4-H members).  Please note there is a $35 registration fee for everyone wishing to participate.  This fee only covers transportation on a charter bus.  Lunch (you pack your own to eat on the bus), snacks, souvenirs and dinner (bring $10) on the way home are your responsibility.

If you would like to be participate, pre-registration is required NOW by clicking on the link below. A $25 nonrefundable deposit is due to the Extension Office by December 16, 2016, along with 4-H Enrollment Forms (everyone’s required to complete for new 4-H year that started October 1, 2016).  If your registration isn’t accepted your $25 deposit will be returned.

Sincerely,
Mr. Lichty
