Citizenship Washington Focus, July 8-14, 2018

July 8-14, 2018

Citizenship Washington Focus (CWF) is a leadership and citizenship development program for senior 4-H’ers from across the country.  Every summer, thousands of young people stay at the National 4-H Conference Center, near Washington D.C., to participate in this week-long program. For more than 50 years, CWF has enriched young people’s lives by promoting opportunities for them to:
  • Broaden appreciation and practice respect for themselves and others in their world.
  • Increase individual commitment to citizen involvement.
  • Understand the importance of civic and social responsibilities as they relate to the development of better citizens and leaders.
  • Practice fitness and have fun!
For more information, please contact the Extension Office and for an application.  Application deadline is February 16 to the State 4-H Office in Blacksburg.  Cost is $1,040.
